Slovakian rafting down the Dunajec River

Trip programme:

Welcome to the rafting trip down the Dunajec River in Slovakia.

• Around 9.00 – departure from Zakopane by buses or coaches and arrival at the Majere haven.

• Duration of the rafting lasts approximately 1,5- 2 hours; it ends up in Leśnica.

• There is a stop during the trip to admire Pieniny mountains

• Another stop next to the Niedzica Castle – 2 hours of free time; you may visit:

  • Niedzica Castle – the place where Janosik was tortured and prisoned

  • The Miniature Park of Podhale, Orawa and Spisz; rope course

  • Czorsztyn Water Dam with the spectacular 3D painting

• On the way back there are two stops

  • Łapszanka – admiring the panorama of the Slovakian Tatra Mountains

  • Głodówka – the panorama of the Polish Tatra Mountains

• A visit in Bacówka – a place where the polish traditional cheese of sheep milk is being made by the highlanders, called oscypek. You can purchase some, too.

• Around 5 p.m. – return to Zakopane

90 zl/adults

70 zl/children up to 12 years old

Everyone ought to have an ID (passeport or ID) while going to Slovakia.

• Tickets to the slovakian rafting down the Dunajec River (we buy tickets for our guests free of turn)
