DESCRIPTION OF ATTRACTIONS:

Vienna, the capital of Austria, is a city rich in centuries-old history, culture, and tradition. The historical center, filled with monuments from various eras, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2001. Vienna's wealth of attractions makes it one of Europe's most visited cities. Famous composers such as Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ludwig van Beethoven, known as the Viennese Classicists, worked here at the end of the 18th century.

City Center

The Ringstrasse is one of Vienna's most recognizable streets. It surrounds the entire historical center, replacing the old city walls demolished in the 19th century. Initially built to prevent rebellions against the authorities, the Ringstrasse turned into an elegant boulevard for Vienna's residents. It is home to the city's most beautiful palaces and numerous public buildings. One of the first attractions on the Ringstrasse is the Hundertwasser House, a unique building known for its vibrant colors and irregular shapes, designed by the famous architect Hundertwasser. Following this, we will have a guided tour of the city, exploring Karlsplatz, Hofburg, Kohlmarkt, Graben, and St. Stephen's Cathedral.

Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens

This summer residence of Empress Sisi is Vienna's most popular attraction. Known as the "Viennese Versailles," it impresses with its grand architecture inspired by Louis XIV's estate. Serving as the Habsburgs' residence and hosting illustrious guests, it is now one of Austria's most important monuments, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The palace features architectural decorations, wall paintings, gilding, and mosaic floors. It also includes a zoo and a palm house, with a French-style park complete with a boxwood maze.

Belvedere

Belvedere is Vienna's greatest treasure and one of the world's most beautiful baroque complexes. Built for Prince Eugene of Savoy in the early 18th century, it consists of two palaces and a garden. The Lower and Upper Belvedere were designed by architect Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt, while the garden, featuring statues, fountains, and lush vegetation, was created by Dominique Girard in a French style.
