Zakopane is the highest situated town in Poland (750-1000m over the sea level). The central point which is the crossing of Krupówki and Kościuszki streets is placed at 838m over the sea level. Would you like to find out more? Take a touring trip with us around the town!

what is there to see?

We have picked the following places out of hundreds ones:

  • Toporowa Cyrhla - Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz and Karol Szymanowski used to have coffee here.

  • The Chapel in Jaszczurówka – it is the typical example of the unique and very characteristic style of Zakopane region.

  • The complex of ski jumps – in 2002 there wrere over 55 thousands fans of Adam Małysz, which was the biggest number in polish history!

  • The Cemetery in Pęksowy Brzysk – almost all tombstones are unique pieces of art.

  • The Sanctuary of Lady of Fatima in Krzeptówki – the unusual place was built in honor of Pope Jan Paweł II after the assassination attempt on 13 May 1981.

  • The shepherd’s hut in Witów – you may surely say the place is distinguished by the taste… you can buy oscypek (polish goat cheese) and other regional goods.

  • The Heritage Park in Chochołów -  a great journey in time to see how people lived and worked many years ago.

  • Driving through Gubałówka ridge to Zakopane – you are welcome to admire the beauty of nature, monuments and incredible views!
